In town for a baseball tournament. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. The server told us about their mole' and the origins of their recipe. Our food didn't have any on it so he brought us some to sample. Very delicious. We have 4 kids and they had tacos off the kids menu and tamales which they loved. They had the Zags game on in Spanish which was sweet. Overall, a great experience. We will be back next time we're in town or passing through.

I am so tempted to gatekeep this taqueria but I won't. Hands down the best mole around for at least a couple of counties! If you ask nicely, you may be let in on a couple of the key ingredients and then you're only missing the other 50 The mole is Oaxacan style, so it's a little sweet and savory. The sauce is rich, complex, and you definitely taste familiar ingredients but also a complete mystery on others. It definitely has a spicy kick that builds with each bite!

OMG! This place is incredible! My girl and I live in Rochester and wanted some good Mexican food. We went on Yelp and read a great review about this restaurant in Centralia. We were so happy to find this place. I ordered the pork in salsa Verde, my girl ordered chiliquiles with red and green sauce. Every bite was delicious. They make everything from scratch, no cans, no bottles, no packaging. Great friendly service and incredible food. Yummy!!!

We were on a road trip from Portland to Seattle craving some nachos and found this place on yelp and HOLY MOLE we are so happy we stopped. My wife got the nachos with shredded beef and I got the wet burrito with the mole. Let me just say that all we could say throughout our meal was YUMM YUMM oh my god yum. My wife is from California and said it's the best Mexican food she's had in Washington and IYKYK that's the highest praise. Ok and along with the amazing food was probably the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. This will be a must stop for us when we are passing through from here on out.

We were in the area just for one day, and had been to my favourite lunchtime cafe, so i left it to husband to search for somewhere for dinner. He chose Taqueria Juquilita. I loved the ambience of the place, which was old-timey, and used to be a grocery store, until 19 years ago. Then it was taken over by the current owners. One of my favourite things about the decor, was the vintage cooler display with windows, which was full of canned and bottled drinks. My picture doesn't show the full width of it, but it ran almost the whole length of the back wall. Very cool (if you'll pardon the pun) I was thrilled to discover that they had Grapefruit Jarritos (and also learned it's pronounced Harritos, not as i had previously been saying it - Jarritos) Our server, was young, highly enthusiastic, and accomodating, even when i asked for my flautas to have ground beef in them, which wasn't a menu item. I rarely get anything other than ground beef, I am terrified when having any other cut of meat, that i will chance upon an errant lump of fat, and i have an absolute pathological hatred of it, so i avoid meat that has fat in noticeable chunks. (please don't even mention brisket, it makes me shudder with horror) Anyway, he took our order, and apogetically came out five minutes later, telling me they weren't having much success at keeping the ground beef inside the flautas, so i told him to do the regular beef. My husband ordered the Alhambra. Out came these two vast plates of food. Now, as you know, i can eat with the best of them, and have a great appetite. I'm not a woman who will fiddle about with a piece of lettuce on a plate and call it good. I eat, I'm a good cook, i like food a lot, and can consume a hefty portion. But this portion was daunting even to me, so i rolled my sleeves up, and attacked it with vigor. It was delicious. ( i managed 2 of the 3 flautas, and all the rice and beans) I am a big fan of well cooked rice and beans, i feel like some Mexican places, just have a big pot of both staples on the go, but without putting any real thought or effort into what it tastes like. The rice was well seasoned, as were the beans, but the beans were some of the nicest I've had because they were a mixture of the liquidized beans, along with some whole beans in there. I was a big fan of those. And the flautas were lovely and crunchy, well filled with savoury meat, and i didn't find any horrible bits of fat. My husband enjoyed most of the Alhambra, which again was enormous, even bigger than my plate. They also had what looked like maybe chicharrones for sale - if that is the name of the hard wheat shapes, that you deep fry (i have some myself, but I'm still not sure what they're called) and some dried chiles and what have you for sale. It was a fun place, and the service was epic, from a really nice staff member. He was very hard working, and i never saw him take a rest. He was sweeping floors, wiping tables - always on the go.
